I don’t want my Zune to have all this junk that it automatically syncs every time I hook it up. Is there a way I can keep this from happening?

   After your Zune device is set up the first time, you can switch between automatic and manual sync if you want. With manual sync, you can select the songs, playlists, videos, and pictures each time you want to sync to the device, and you also manually remove them from your device.

   In the Navigation pane, right-click the device, and then click Set Up Sync.

   Clear or select the Sync this device automatically check box.

   Do one of the following:

   If you are switching to use automatic sync, select the playlists that sync automatically. For more information, see the procedure in this Help topic about choosing what syncs automatically.

   If you are switching to use manual sync, select the songs, playlists, videos, or pictures you want to sync manually.
