I have folders with videos and podcasts set up to sync onto my Zune but it seems like the Zune software won’t recognize the folders or the items themselves. I’m 99% sure they’re in the correct format. One of my friends tried downloading a program that would allow me to transfer files from a folder onto my Zune much like you would if you were moving pictures between folders but that didn’t work either. Any suggestions?
Also, I’ve had no problem getting pictures and music onto the Zune.

   The other 1% the video can be in the wrong format, But go to the Zune software settings and make sure that the correct folder is selected to sync with your Zune.

   Well, first put your videos that should be in m-peg4 format or .mp4 and put them in your videos folder under my documents, so the zune software can recognize them more easily.

   I suggest converting them to wmv with a resoluiton no larger than 320×240. I’ve seen my Zune copnvert the podcasts that I downloaded from the Marketplace. Those were in mpeg-4 format. Now I just convert everything to wmv.

   If the videos and podcasts show up in the collection then they are in the monitored folders. Right click on them and sync them.

   If they don’t show up in the collection then they are either in the wrong format or they are not in a monitored folder. To check to see what folders are monitored or to add/remove folders from the monitored list, open the Zune program and click on settings>collection. You will find them there. Unless you changed the monitored folders, Zune usually starts out monitoring My Videos for compatible video files.
