zune
This Guy’s Awesome asked:

I have an iPod Nano. But I want something with more space. I have over 4000 songs on my iTunes and don’t wanna have to buy the same songs over or have to transfer them to Windows Media Player. Can I transfer my iTunes files onto a Zune like an iPod? Can it playback my iTunes podcasts? A lot of y songs are from Limewire, will the Zune play back those songs as well?

I think that you can get them for free if you use this site

A zune will play mp3 format but not the protected itunes format. So, songs downloaded from limewire will most likely play but anything purchased from itunes will not.

Zune can’t even get its songs from Billy Gate’s own Windows Media Player, can you believe that? It’s got it OWN stupid dedicated sync program… it’s so crazy.

If you use iTunes and really need a lot of storage space, stick to iPods and get the 160Gb one. You can put 40,000 (yep, 40 thousand) songs into that one. That makes for a lot of songs, video, pics, what have you. ?

Any media player is essentialy a USB disk storage device, if iTunes doesn’t transfer it, Just go to my computer, and you will see the media playe, iPod or iPhone or Zune or Whatever the case may, just drag and drop the songs, all mp3 players will play mp3s :). Its as simple as that, If you need any further assitance, give me a shout.

For the songs you purchased from the iTunes music store:

If they are the DRM-free version then just use iTunes to convert them to MP3.

If they are the standard DRM versions you can burn them to cd then rip them in Windows Media Player.

For songs that you ripped from CD or downloaded from places other than the iTunes music store:

If they are in MP3 or WMA format then just open them in Windows Media Player.

If they are AAC use iTunes to convert them to MP3 before you open them in the Windows Media Player.
